This article explains how to view your personal and work details in EmployeeXperience® (eX), ask your employer to update them, change your photo, and confirm your Social Security number.
On a computer: click your name (top right), then Your Profile
On a phone: tap More, then Account, then Your Profile
Reading Your Profile
- Your Information: your photo, Employee Id, name, birthday and Social Security number (hidden).
- Contact Information: your addresses, phone numbers and emails, on the Primary, Secondary and Work tabs.
- Employee Information: your date of hire, start date, benefit eligibility date, and any other details your employer tracks.
- Your Signature: see Your Electronic Signature.
Ask to Update Your Details - Use Request a change to this Information
- Click Request a change to this Information.
- Your current details are under Current Value. Enter new details under Requested Change. You can ask to change:
- your first, middle and last name, birthday and sex
- your phone number, cell number and personal email
- your primary and secondary address
- Click Save.
Your employer reviews the request before your profile changes. Until then, your profile shows the new value under the old one, marked (Requested Revision).
Important: A name change must match your Social Security card, because your name is reported on your W2. If you've moved, your tax withholding may need to change too. See Tax Profile and Changing Your Withholding.
NOTE: If you don't see the request button, your employer hasn't turned on profile changes in eX. Contact your payroll administrator. Work contact details are managed by your employer.
Update Company Details - Use Update Profile
If your employer has added its own fields under Employee Information that you can fill in, click Update Profile to change them.
Change Your Photo - Use Upload a New Photo
Click Upload a New Photo under your photo and choose an image. Your photo is shown on your profile and in the Company Directory.
Confirm Your Social Security Number - Use Confirm SSN
Your employer may ask you to check that your Social Security number on file is correct.
- Click Confirm SSN.
- Enter your Social Security number and click Confirm.
eX compares it with the number on file. If they don't match, contact your payroll administrator, because your W2 uses this number.
